Agree on the handover before flying
An airport name alone is not a meeting point. Confirm the terminal or arrivals area, representative’s contact, vehicle registration or identifying details, and the process if either party cannot find the other.
Share the flight number when appropriate and agree on how delays affect waiting time, collection fees and the booking start time.
Make sure people and bags fit
Passenger capacity does not guarantee luggage capacity. Tell the provider how many large and cabin-size bags you expect, and compare that requirement with the exact vehicle rather than relying only on a category name.
- Number of adults and children
- Number and approximate size of suitcases
- Child seat or accessibility requirements
- One-way, hotel-delivery or out-of-city plans
- Self-drive or chauffeur-driven service
Do not rush the inspection
Even after a long flight, record the car’s exterior, wheels, fuel level, mileage and warning lights. Confirm the agreement, authorised driver and return location before leaving the pickup area.
Keep the representative’s contact and assistance procedure available offline in case mobile data is unreliable during the onward journey.
