1. Information we collect

• Account information: name, email, and phone number, collected when you sign up or sign in with Google.
• Identity documents: CNIC and driving license photos, used to verify renter and host eligibility before a booking can be confirmed.
• Booking information: pickup and return dates, locations, vehicle selection, and trip notes.
• Payment information: JazzCash processes your payment directly; VVAHID does not receive or store your card or mobile wallet credentials.
• Location information: pickup and return addresses you enter, and city or coordinates you share when searching for cars nearby.
• Usage information: pages visited, device and browser information, and cookies used to keep you signed in and improve the service.

2. How we use your information

• To create and secure your account, including Google sign-in and phone number verification.
• To verify your identity and driving eligibility before a booking is confirmed.
• To process bookings, communicate with hosts and renters, and provide customer support.
• To process payments through JazzCash and maintain accurate booking and wallet records.
• To detect fraud, enforce our Terms and Conditions, and keep the marketplace safe.
• To send booking confirmations, verification updates, and service-related notifications.

3. Google sign-in

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google to create or match your VVAHID account. We do not post to your Google account or access other Google services on your behalf.

4. Identity verification

CNIC and driving license photos are uploaded securely and reviewed by the VVAHID team to confirm booking eligibility. Documents are stored securely and are only accessible to authorized VVAHID staff for verification and safety purposes.

5. Payments

Bookings are paid through JazzCash's secure, hosted checkout. VVAHID receives confirmation of payment status but does not store your JazzCash account number, card details, or PIN.

6. Sharing your information

• With hosts or renters as needed to complete a booking (such as your name and contact details).
• With JazzCash to process payments.
• With cloud hosting and storage providers who process data on our behalf under contract.
• When required by law, to protect the rights and safety of VVAHID, our users, or the public.

7. Data retention

We retain account, booking, and verification information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution obligations.

8. Your choices

• You can update your profile information from your account settings at any time.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to records we are required to keep by law.
• You can control cookies through your browser settings.

9. Children's privacy

VVAHID is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services evolve. We will update the effective date above when changes are made.
