Why the Alto matters in Pakistan
The Suzuki Alto remains one of the country’s highest-volume passenger cars. Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association data recorded 36,694 Alto sales from July 2025 through February 2026, making it the clearest single-model volume leader in that report.
Its appeal is straightforward: a small footprint for dense streets, a light engine and a choice between manual and automated-manual transmission.

Where it fits best
The Alto is best suited to short urban journeys, tight parking and light luggage. Four-seat capacity and a 27-litre tank make it less natural for a fully loaded motorway holiday than a sedan or crossover.
Fuel economy varies with traffic, maintenance, tyre pressure, air-conditioning and driving style. Treat any mileage number without a repeatable test method as an estimate, not a promise.
